Prior to the vote, Morawiecki delivered a major policy speech outlining his new government’s priorities.
The reappointed prime minister said that his new government would largely be a continuation of the previous one.
He also said that the government’s main aim would be to make Poland “the best place to live in Europe – a Poland of everyday normality, prosperity and peace on the streets and on its borders.”
“That is the dream of millions of Poles,” he argued.
Jacek Kucharczyk, head of the Institute of Public Affairs in Warsaw, tells Radio Poland that “normality” seemed to be the key word in the prime minister’s policy speech.
