The first two days of the fair were aimed at professionals.

Meanwhile, Saturday and Sunday are open days with workshops for children, debates, book premieres, exhibitions and opportunities to meet well-known architects.

The marathon of debates began on Thursday with a discussion about what kind of buildings should be built in the future.

Among the topics tackled is the design of buildings in times of climate change and the challenges this poses for architects, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

The fair, entitled “4 Design Days", is taking place at the International Congress Centre and the Spodek Arena in Katowice.
