Despite fears of a fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the country's inoculation drive is slowing, state news agency PAP reported.
Last week, 688,999 people were vaccinated throughout the country, compared to 921,901 a week earlier.
At the beginning of July, around 1.5 million COVID-19 vaccinations were being administered weekly, down from a record of 2.5 million in early June.
The largest vaccination point in Poland's southern city of Kraków on Monday reported that it was vaccinating around 100 people a day. A month earlier, it was administering up to 1,600 shots daily.
Some vaccination points in the city have shut down due to low interest.
The head of a temporary hospital set up at Warsaw’s National Stadium, Artur Zaczyński, told the Rzeczpospolita daily in July that around 2,000 people were being vaccinated there every day during the summer holidays, down from 6,500 to 7,000 on average in June.
In mid-July, the government commissioner for the national vaccination programme, Michał Dworczyk, was quoted by the paper as saying that the number of registrations for COVID-19 vaccines was declining.
Meanwhile, anti-vaccine sentiment in the country is growing, and the Polish prime minister on Friday called on anti-vaccination activists to stop "waging a campaign of fake news and aggression."
Last month, a group of anti-vaccine protesters attacked an inoculation centre in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, central Poland, drawing warnings of "zero tolerance" from government officials.
As of Monday, Poland had injected more than 18.3 million first doses of COVID-19 vaccines, while nearly 17.5 million people had been fully inoculated, health ministry data showed.
Poland on Monday reported 74 new coronavirus infections and no new deaths related to COVID-19. The latest infections bring the country’s total number of cases during the pandemic to 2,883,120, while the death toll stands at 75,261.
