Since February 24, 2022, when Russia invaded its neighbor, 12.3 million people have crossed into Poland from Ukraine, according to the Polish Border Guard agency.
Meanwhile, 10.5 million people have left Poland for Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion, the agency said. On Friday around 25,500 people crossed from Poland into Ukraine, it also reported.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
Saturday is day 465 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
