Kwieciński was on Monday set to meet US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in Washington to discuss efforts to increase trade and investment between the two countries, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Later, he was expected to take part in a roundtable conference held by the Atlantic Council, a US think-tank, during which challenges in store for Europe’s digital economy were to be discussed.

On Tuesday, Kwieciński was scheduled to visit a technological centre belonging to American industrial giant Honeywell in New York.

Kwieciński was also set to attend a United Nations Global Compact meeting in New York City on Thursday.

On Friday, Poland’s Kwieciński was expected to open the “60 Million Congress” in Buffalo, New York that was to bring together Polish communities from around the world.
