The Belgian embassy has come up with an offbeat way to commemorate the centennial.

The colourful mural on Warsaw’s Belgijska Street blends Belgian and Polish motifs. It has been designed and painted by Belgian artist Olivier Binamé, also known as Oli-B.

The process of painting the mural as well as a fête accompanying the unveiling of the artwork were filmed by another Belgian artist, Jules Césure.

On the eve of the official unveiling, Elżbieta Krajewska spoke to Belgium's Ambassador to Poland, Luc Jacobs, as well as the artist behind the mural.
