Poland, Romania eye closer energy, infrastructure links

Poland and Romania share similar, if not identical, views on many regional and European issues and will work together to strengthen cooperation in energy and infrastructure, the prime ministers of the two countries said after talks in Bucharest on Wednesday.

“Our shared interests are clear to see in building common North-South infrastructure. Our Via Carpathia project, with a link to the Black Sea and further down south to Bulgaria, can boost business, tourism and cultural exchange between our nations,” said Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
