Polish man confronted London Bridge terrorist

A Polish chef is reported to have confronted an armed terrorist who carried out an attack at London Bridge on Friday, according to the PAP news agency.

The Pole, identified in different media reports as Łukasz, together with two other civilians, approached Usman Khan in an attempt to stop the convicted terrorist’s rampage.

According to a report by British The Times, the Polish man used a narwhal tusk which he grabbed from a wall in Fishmongers' Hall where he was working.

By the time he and the other men ran towards Khan who was wielding a knife at the time, the terrorist had killed two people and seriously injured three others.

Łukasz reportedly suffered from minor cuts as he was stabbed in the hand by Khan, while trying to overwhelm him with another bystander who used a fire extinguisher.

The suspect was later shot dead by an armed police officer.

The Polish chef has been already hailed a hero by different UK media.
