The man, suspected of financially supporting the so-called Islamic State, was detained by Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) working together with border guards, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The suspect had family contacts with militants who died fighting for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, according to IAR.
The news agency added that a court had decided that the man will spend the next three months in a secure refugee centre.
Procedures will be launched to expel the man from Poland, IAR reported.
