PKP Intercity is relaunching services to Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Passengers have to follow measures designed to curb the spread of the COVID-19 disease, and must keep their mouths and noses covered throughout their journey.

International passenger rail connections were suspended on March 15, along with international scheduled flights.

A total of 32,227 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Poland, with 1,359 deaths from the COVID-19 respiratory disease so far, officials said on Monday.

Poland allowed international flights to resume to most European Union countries last week.
