The Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM) gave Lebanese farmers food processing equipment to make them more efficient.
It also organized workshops on production methods, sales, marketing, strategic planning and product certification.
Thanks to such help, six types of Lebanese products are being sold in Polish stores, including rose water, eggplant, marinated vine leaves and olive oil.
Lebanon is known throughout the Middle East for its cuisine, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The Polish Center for International Aid has been active for eight years in that country which, amid an influx of refugees, is undergoing an economic crisis, IAR added.
