Though the final, official results of Sunday’s runoff election in Poland have not yet been announced, Orban posted a photo of himself and Duda with the inscription "Bravo!"

Duda, who was backed in the presidential race by Poland’s ruling, conservative Law and Justice party, was also congratulated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.

With 99.97 percent of the ballots counted, Duda had 51.21 percent of the vote, while opposition-backed challenger Rafał Trzaskowski, the mayor of Warsaw, had 48.79 percent, Poland’s National Electoral Commission (PKW) said on Monday morning.
