The government in Vilnius sees the rising migration levels as part of hybrid warfare waged by Belarusian strongman Alexander Lukashenko.
“A similar situation with irregular immigration, instigated by the Belarusian authorities, has been reported in Poland, albeit on a much smaller scale,” Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau said.
