Assets of "Putin's Architect" worth 144 million dollars have been seized

Assets worth 144 million dollars belonging to Lanfranco Cirillo have been seized by the Italian authorities.

Lanfranco Cirillo, famous for having designed Putin's Black Sea residence, has been under investigation for tax evasion (50 million euros) and money laundering.

Assets worth 144 million dollars, including art masterpieces and jewellery, have been seized in Italy.

The seizure has taken place now because the Italian organ resposible for investigating financial crime, Guardia di Finanza, suspects that Cirillo has recently moved his affairs to Russia and obtained Russian citizenship to further avoid taxes.
