Polish wages up in Q3 2019: stats office

The average monthly wage in Poland in the third quarter of this year rose by 7.7 percent compared with the same quarter last year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) has said.

The average gross monthly wage in the third quarter of 2019 was PLN 4,931.59 (EUR 1,151, USD 1,267), the statistics office reported on Wednesday.

The figure was 1.9 percent up on the second quarter of this year, according to the office.

The Central Statistical Office reported last month that average wages in Poland rose 6.6 percent in September compared with the same month a year earlier.
