Trade surplus for Poland in 2019: stats office

Poland ended last year with a foreign trade surplus of EUR 1.8 billion, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Tuesday.

In 2018, Poland's foreign trade showed a deficit of EUR 4.6 billion, the government-run statistics agency said.

Poland’s exports totaled EUR 235.8 billion in 2019 as a whole, while imports were worth EUR 234 billion, according to the statistical office.

Poland’s largest export markets are Germany, the Czech Republic and Britain, while Germany, China and Russia are the country’s largest import markets.
