The study commissioned by the National Debt Register (KRD) company found that there are two distinct groups among companies going through the COVID-19 crisis in this country.

The first say they are in “good” shape. In total, 36.1 percent of businesses gave such a reply, up from 31.9 percent a month ago and 24.6 percent in May, state news agency PAP reported.

The second group say they are neither in good nor bad shape. In all, 33.8 percent of companies gave such a response, up from 28.2 percent in June and 26.1 percent in May.

Meanwhile, almost half of companies said their situation was unlikely to change over the next three months. A month ago, the figure was just over 40 percent, PAP reported.

Poland’s Labour Minister Marlena Maląg said last month that, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, some 5 million jobs have been saved throughout the country thanks to measures including a massive relief and stimulus package that aims to shield the economy from the coronavirus.
