Polish gov’t vows support for winter resorts as discontent grows

The Polish government is offering extra aid to ski resorts hit by coronavirus curbs amid a second wave of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, a dissent movement is growing in Polish highland areas and may soon be joined by straitened businesses dependent on tourism in other parts of the country.
