Polish refiner PKN Orlen strikes major deal with Exxon

Poland’s biggest refiner, PKN Orlen, said on Tuesday it had struck an unprecedented deal with giant US oil producer Exxon Mobil for a million tons of crude.

“For the first time ever, PKN Orlen has concluded a long-term contract for the supply of crude oil from the US,” the Polish state-run company’s CEO, Daniel Obajtek, said on social media.
