The news was announced during a media conference held to start the second edition of an environmental project focusing on Polish cities.

Climate Minister Michał Kurtyka said that vast amounts of feedback from municipal authorities and residents “include calls to 'de-concretise' cities, increase participatory budgeting dedicated to green projects, streamline eco-transport procedures and support good landscape planning.”
