More Polish cities are expanding their fleets of low-emission vehicles, according to officials.

Some 200 gas-powered buses already ply the streets of the capital Warsaw and dozens more are expected to follow suit.

“A deal has been struck to purchase another 180 vehicles, so one year from now Warsaw will have some 400 gas-fueled buses out on the streets, plus around 100 electric ones,” said Marcin Szczudło of Polish gas giant PGNiG.
