A study by the Ministry of Digital Affairs found that 60 percent of Poles use the internet for a minimum of an hour a day.
Most often they go online using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Communication and entertainment remain the primary reasons for using the internet, but more people are turning online to carry out formalities such as registering the birth of their child or applying for an ID card, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
