The number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose by 131 during the day, bringing the country's total to 1,031.
The latest death was that of an 80-year-old man in the town of Skarżysko-Kamienna, some 125 km south of Warsaw, who was suffering from other medical problems.
On Tuesday, 152 new infections were confirmed by the health ministry in Warsaw, the highest number in a single day.
The first infection was confirmed by Polish authorities on March 4, while the country's first coronavirus fatality was announced on March 12.
Poland has declared a “state of epidemic". It shut its borders to non-residents on March 15 for 10 days, and on Wednesday announced the restrictions were being extended until April 13.
International scheduled flights and passenger rail connections have been suspended. The government is chartering special flights to help citizens abroad return home.
Poles have been told they cannot gather in groups of more than two, though families are exempt from the restriction.
