Almost 30 percent say they would come to a wedding only. Sixteen percent would appear at both wedding and reception, but would avoid close contact with other guests.

Meanwhile, 28.5 percent said they would attend both a wedding and reception.

The biggest challenge for wedding organizers, the report added, is ensuring safety measures for guests.

"After the government in June restored the possibility of organizing family events with a limit of up to 150 people, many couples decided to organize weddings […] With a growing numbers of new infections, however, the government is considering the introduction of further restrictions,” the report said.

A total of 72,453 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Poland since the start of the pandemic, and 2,159 have died from the COVID-19 respiratory disease so far, officials said on Thursday.
