The match at the Legia Warsaw Municipal Stadium, also known as the Polish Army Stadium, kicks off in the Polish capital at 8pm.
The second leg takes place next Thursday at the Rangers’ Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow.
Steven Gerrard, who manages the Scottish Premiership club, said: “I think it’s going to be a very difficult game over the two legs… we’re expecting a hostile atmosphere.”
Legia in May finished as runners-up in Poland’s top-flight Ekstraklasa football league.
