The final will be played in Poland, along with both semi-finals, two quarter-finals and 15 group-stage matches.

In total, 25 games will be played in this country.

Poland will be hosting the men’s championships for the third time. It organised the tournament for the first time in 2013, with Denmark as co-host, and then again four years later.

The Poles, one of the world's strongest teams, took the bronze in the European Volleyball Championships in Paris in September and have secured a spot in next year’s Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

The 2019 European tournament, won by Serbia, was held in four countries: Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Slovenia.
