He added: “Well done Mummy, Anna Lewandowska.”
The Polish prime minister in November sent his congratulations after Lewandowski revealed his wife was expecting another baby.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki sent the message after the 31-year-old Poland international a day earlier scored a goal for his Bayern Munich side in its 2-0 Champions League win against Greek outfit Olympiakos.
In celebrating the goal, Lewandowski tucked the ball underneath his jersey, sucked his thumb and gestured to indicate that he would become a father for the second time.
Lewandowski in December 2016 celebrated his wife's first pregnancy after scoring for Bayern Munich in a Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.
He in May 2017 wrote on Instagram: “Proud Daddy of Klara. Wonderful feeling.”
Lewandowski and his wife Anna in March said they were donating EUR 1 million to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple also urged people to behave responsibly during the global coronavirus outbreak.
Lewandowski is the captain of Poland’s national football team and a striker for Germany’s Bayern Munich, while his wife is a media personality in her own right.
