Andrzej Bargiel said his trek, on which he will be accompanied by a team of four, will last a month.

The Polish adventurer will take on Laila Peak, which is 6,200 metres tall, and 6,125-metre Yawash Sar II.

Bargiel in 2018 notched up a world first by skiing down K2 on the China–Pakistan border. The 8,611-metre mountain is the world’s second highest.

In 2015, he became the first person to ski down Broad Peak, which is 8,015 metres tall and close to K2.

In 2019, he abandoned an attempt to ski down Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain.
