The German champions Bayern dismantled the in-form hosts, winning 4-0, with three of the goals coming from their Polish forward.
Lewandowski, recently voted Poland's sportsperson of the year, opened the scoring in the 11th minute, finishing off a counter-attack, before France’s Corentin Tolisso made it 2-0 on 25 minutes.
The Polish striker then added two more goals in the second half, in the 63rd and 74th minute. The third strike was Lewandowski’s 300th goal in the Bundesliga and his 23rd this season, after only 19 matchdays.
If Lewandowski’s scoring form continues, the Bundesliga’s record for most goals scored in a season may be broken again by the Polish forward, onet.pl reported.
