Two medals for Poland at European rowing championships

Poland has won two medals, a silver and a bronze, at the European rowing championships, which ended in Munich, Germany on Sunday.

Poland’s Dominik Czaja, Mateusz Biskup, Mirosław Ziętarski, and Fabian Barański finished runners-up in the men's quadruple sculls.

Meanwhile, Paralympic rowers Jolanta Majka and Michał Gadomski finished third in the PR2 mixed double sculls event.

The 2022 European Rowing Championships were held at the Oberschleißheim regatta course near Munich from August 11 to 14.

Britain topped the medals table with 10 medals, six gold, three silver and one bronze.

Poland won two medals, both bronze, at last year's European rowing championships in Italy.

Team Poland won three medals, one silver and two bronze, at the 2020 European rowing championships on home waters in the western Polish city of Poznań.

The 2022 world rowing championships will take place in Račice in the Czech Republic from September 18 to 25.
