The ceremony was held at Warsaw’s Royal Castle on Saturday.
The Totus Tuus Awards recognise individuals and institutions whose activities contribute to the promotion of the teachings of pope John Paul II.
The prize is granted by the Work of the New Millennium Foundation.
The award was received by the section’s editor-in-chief, Father Andrzej Majewski and Polish Radio journalist Małgorzata Bartas-Witan.
Father Majewski said: "If we managed to talk to [the section’s] listeners in such a way as to unite them, to create a meeting platform, to make the church appear like a common home for all people, if we succeeded in doing so and if the jury panel noticed it, then we would like to thank them very, very much.”
The Totus Tuus Award is the brainchild of Bishop Jan Chrapek, who died in 2001.
The statuettes depicting angels were awarded for the first time by the Work of the New Millennium Foundation 18 years ago.
