“The World of the Polish Vasas. Space – People – Art” boasts almost 300 exhibits on loan from 77 European institutions, a digital reconstruction of the Castle of the Vasas, and sophisticated scenography.

"The exhibition not only reconstructs the world of the Vasa court, but also their values; it shows the connections of this dynasty with modern Europe, their contacts and diplomatic travels, the patronage they exercised over Polish culture,” said Jacek Żukowski, a curator of the exhibition.

The highlight of the exhibition is a “selection of excellent portraits of the Vasas … from European collections such as those in Madrid, Vienna and Stockholm, among others," Żukowski added.

“The World of the Polish Vasas. Space – People – Art” runs until January 14.
