Screenings of over 70 features and documentary films started on January 8 at the Iluzjon Cinema - Museum of Film Art, belonging to the Arthouse Cinemas Network.

The review winds up on January 31 , and the nominees for the awards are to be announced by the 700-member jury of the Polish Film Academy on February 5.

An Eagles 2020 gala award ceremony is to take place in Warsaw on March 2.

According to critics, the number of films in the preview shows that 2019 was a highly successful year for Polish cinematography.
