The minelayer ship ORP Gryf and the destroyer ORP Orkan have been newly added to the video game by its developer and publisher Wargaming, according to the defence24.pl website.

The historical game, which has been available to players for free online since 2015, also features the legendary Polish destroyer ORP Błyskawica, defence24.pl reported.

The ORP Błyskawica, which is still operational as a museum ship, was recently highlighted in a virtual parade of iconic Allied warships organised by Wargaming to mark the 75th anniversary of Victory Day in Europe, according to defence24.pl.

World of Warships has enabled players worldwide to gain an insight into the history of the Polish navy, the website said.
