This year’s Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival, held amid celebrations to mark the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth, is taking place in Polish capital from October 10 to 22.

The festival is usually held in the run-up to Easter, but this year was pushed back because of the COVID-19 epidemic.

While Beethoven is the event’s key focus, the festival also highlights the works of Chopin, Schubert, Brahms and Krzysztof Penderecki, the great Polish composer who died in March.
