‘Roots of Memory’: Museum project honours Warsaw’s WWII resistance fighters

"Roots of Memory" is the name of a project launched by a Polish museum to mark the upcoming 77th anniversary of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising.

The bloody World War II revolt in the Polish capital was a heroic act of resistance in which poorly equipped Polish fighters took up arms against the country’s Nazi German invaders.
