United24 initiative raises millions for Ukrainian army: audio report

United24 is a Ukrainian governmental initiative that aims to collect and distribute financial assistance as well as spread information about charitable donations intended to help Ukraine, in particular its army.

The United24 charity platform, also known as U24, was launched in May by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Funds are transferred to three ministries to cover the most pressing needs in three areas: defense and demining; medical aid; and rebuilding Ukraine.

Since its inception in May, the United24 platform has raised nearly USD 59 million in charitable payments from donors in 72 countries and continues to help Ukraine.
