Two of them, hospitalised in the northwestern city of Varaždin, were in critical condition on Monday.
“The whole of Croatia shows sympathy for the families and friends of the victims," said Monika Lisicki, a Polish-Croatian nurse from Zagreb.
"That was a disastrous event … I don’t recall such a big tragedy happening here," she added.
