Twelve people were killed and 32 others injured when a Polish tour bus carrying pilgrims to Medjugorje, a Catholic shrine in Bosnia and Herzegovina, veered off a motorway in Croatia and landed in a ditch on Saturday, August 6.
After the accident, those injured were transported to hospitals in the capital Zagreb and the city of Varaždin in the north of Croatia.
Four of the victims were then flown to Poland on Saturday night, and others with more serious injuries remained under the supervision of Croatian medical services.

On Wednesday, it was decided that 10 of the patients, whose condition allowed for transport, would be flown to Poland.
The Polish tourists, who were travelling on a pilgrimage organised by the Brotherhood of St. Joseph Catholic group, included three priests and six nuns.
The bus had left from the Polish city of Częstochowa on Friday night following a prayer service. The passengers were from various regions of Poland.
