The Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine spoke to SKY News on Tuesday. The London-based SKY News noted that the interview took place against the backdrop of the UK's decision not to send F-16 fighter jets. (See the interview here.)

As Poland's Rzeczpospolita also reported, Danilov said Ukraine anticipates a major escalation by Russia in the coming weeks involving over 320 000 soldiers.

On Twitter, Danilov has been using a defiant tone:

"We will keep going till the job is done - the Russian monster, whether under the banner of Bolshevism or under the rag of Putinism, must be destroyed."
