President Zelensky has once again emphasized the need to monitor sanctions at the Second Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform.
"It is not easy to clean the Black Sea from the terrorist fleet, but it is much easier to clean the information environment from Russian propaganda"
Ukraine has emphasized in the past how much detailed administrative work will be involved in undoing years of Russian occupation of Crimea.
At the Summit, Chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk added:
“Sanctions are our collective response to the acts of aggression. This is a clear signal that we will steadfastly uphold the rule of law and international regulations.”
Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya also addressed the Summit, referring here to crimes against humanity commiited by Russia and Belarus:
The International Crimea Platform is a Ukrainian initiative to gather all plans and projects concerning Crimea within a framework of international governmental and non-governmental organisations.
