Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, quoting the country's chief rabbi, wrote in a post on X former Twitter: "Someone tried to set fire to the Nożyk synagogue with a Molotov cocktail. I wonder who is trying to disrupt the anniversary of our accession to the EU. Maybe the same ones who scribbled the Stars of David in Paris?"
"Thank God no one was hurt" the minister added.
The president also condemned the attack on the Jewish place of worship.
"There is no place for anti-Semitism in Poland! There is no place for hatred in Poland," Andrzej Duda wrote on the X platform.
The Warsaw Police are investigating this matter
