Fresh off a challenging victory over Germany's Angelique Kerber, Świątek showed no signs of fatigue, dominating the match from the start.

Świątek took control early, quickly clinching the first set 6:1. The second set saw a bit more resistance from Keys, but Świątek secured an early break and maintained her lead, wrapping up the match 6:3. The entire duel lasted just one hour and seventeen minutes.

Reflecting on her performance, Świątek said, "I felt very good in this match. I'm glad I served well, especially when the game was close."

This win marks Świątek’s fourth triumph over Keys in five meetings, consistently demonstrating her dominance on the court. She now moves on to face the winner between Coco Gauff and Qinwen Zheng in the semifinals on Friday, aiming for her third title in Rome after previous victories in 2021 and 2022.
