The airport announced that 1,588,901 travelers used the Warsaw terminal last month, marking an 8.6% increase over the record-breaking April 2019, which saw 1.46 million passengers.

The surge highlights robust growth, as the airport has already facilitated travel for close to 5.9 million passengers since the beginning of the year. In 2023, the airport managed nearly 18.5 million passengers, approaching its all-time high of 18.86 million set in 2019.

With this upward trend, Warsaw's Chopin Airport is on track to exceed 20 million passengers in a single year for the first time in its history, according to a press release published by the airport on Friday.
