The talks are expected to focus on bilateral business ties in areas including energy, as well as on security policy and "the cooperation of both countries within the European Union and the protection of the EU's border," according to officials in Warsaw.
The Polish president will be accompanied to Paris by a delegation of officials including his foreign policy adviser Jakub Kumoch and the head of the National Security Bureau, Paweł Soloch.
Deputy Foreign Minister Piotr Wawrzyk and Deputy Environment Minister Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński are also set to travel to Paris with Duda.
The Polish president is due to arrive at Elysée Palace at around 1 p.m., public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
France’s state-controlled utility EDF this month offered to build up to six nuclear reactors in Poland, with a total installed capacity of up to 9.9 GWe, according to a report.
