The incident, which involved a collision causing one of the vehicles to veer off the road and strike a culvert, took place in the village of Żyrów in Poland's central Mazovia region.

The accident happened in the early morning, as the convoy was moving "from Zegrze to Łask," according to Tomasz Wiktorowicz, a press officer for the military police.

"One of the vehicles unexpectedly left the lane, resulting in injuries to the driver and a passenger, both of whom were promptly taken to hospitals in Grójec and Radom," Wiktorowicz said.

He added that the injuries were not life-threatening; the injured soldiers are aged 21 and 22.

The site of the accident has been secured by the police, and the road remained passable.

"Procedures at the scene are ongoing, and the causes of the accident are being determined," Wiktorowicz told the media.

A series of accidents involving military personnel in Poland have occurred in recent days.
