The demonstration, organized by the Solidarity Trade Union and its “Individual Farmers” branch, saw protesters carrying banners with messages such as "We farmers want to leave the European Union."

Tusk responded to the protests on X, asserting: "No one believes that it is the farmers who want to leave the Union and the subsidy system." He suggested that the true motives behind the demonstration were politically driven, particularly by the former ruling conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party, which he accused of no longer hiding its intentions and which took part in the protests.

The protest culminated in front of the Sejm, where union leaders delivered speeches and representatives met with Speaker of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia to present a petition concerning the Green Deal.

According to estimates by Warsaw city authorities, the march was attended by 30,000-35,000 people.
