A day earlier, the Poles defeated the Hungarians 5-2 in a friendly game in Krynica-Zdrój, southern Poland.
The two games were played as the Polish team prepares for the elite world championships in the Czech Republic in May.
This week, the Poles will play two more friendlies in preparation for the global tournament, taking on Slovenia in the southern Polish city of Bytom on April 18 and 19, according to the Polish Ice Hockey Federation (PZHL).
In May last year, Poland earned promotion to the top tier of men's ice hockey after finishing runner-up at the Men’s World Championship Division IA in Nottingham.
Poland are returning to the elite pool after a hiatus of more than two decades, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
