Experts talk cybersecurity

Cybersecurity experts from around the world have flocked to Katowice, southern Poland, for the fifth European Cybersec Forum, hailed by the organizers as the biggest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe.

The main themes of the conference include 5G mobile network technology, cyber defence, protection of personal data and privacy, and artificial intelligence.

Cybersec boasts a long list of guest speakers including Poland's Minister of Digital Affairs Marek Zagórski, former US National Security Agency director Keith Alexander, and NATO's Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, Antonio Missiroli.

This year’s conference is entitled “Securing the World’s Digital DNA.” 

The conference is being organised by the Kościuszko Institute, a Polish NGO and research institute.
