The latest cases bring Poland’s total number of infections during the pandemic to 2,890,666, while the death toll stands at 75,379.
Of the new cases confirmed on Monday, the most—27—were in the northwestern province of Zachodniopomorskie, which is home to the major city of Szczecin.
On Sunday, Poland reported no fatalities and 324 new coronavirus infections nationwide, compared with seven deaths and 389 fresh cases a day earlier.
On April 8, the country reported its highest daily toll of 954 deaths related to the coronavirus.
On April 1, the Polish health ministry confirmed 35,251 new single-day cases, the most since the pandemic hit the country early last year.
Poland's first case of coronavirus infection was reported on March 4, 2020.
529 in hospitals, 53,752 quarantined
The Polish health ministry announced on Monday morning that 529 COVID-19 patients were in hospitals nationwide, 64 of them on ventilators, with a further 53,752 people quarantined for possible coronavirus exposure.
Meanwhile, 2,657,745 people have now recovered from COVID-19 throughout the country, the health ministry also said.
Officials have warned that the number of COVID-19 infections in the country could rise in the weeks ahead as the Delta variant of the coronavirus begins to spread more quickly.
Poland's Health Minister Adam Niedzielski said on Friday that the daily number of new coronavirus infections in the country could reach 1,000 by the end of September and then rise to 5,000 by late October.
